At LIS Logistics’ customs facilities, we can assist with temporary importation. This scheme allows goods from outside the European Union to be imported temporarily, whereby, subject to certain conditions, no immediate payment of import duties is required.
This is useful when goods are needed temporarily in the Netherlands and are to be exported again at a later date.
Temporary admission is a customs procedure for non-Union goods that are used within the European Union for a specified period and are subsequently re-exported. The goods are not released for free circulation and must be re-exported within the specified time limit.
