This allows you to store non-EU goods under customs supervision without having to pay import duties and VAT immediately. As an internationally operating business, this offers you greater flexibility, control and financial benefits.
A customs warehouse is a storage facility where you can store goods from outside the European Union without them being immediately released for free circulation. As a result, import duties and VAT are only payable when you actually place the goods on the market within the EU.
Are you exporting the goods from the bonded warehouse to another country? In many cases, you can avoid import duties and VAT entirely.
