LIS Logistics holds a wide range of customs licences and uses advanced customs software to support the import, storage and export of (excise) goods. This enables us to manage logistics processes efficiently while offering our customers significant financial and operational benefits.
We operate an Excise Goods Warehouse (AGP) and hold an Excise Duty Goods Facility (IV) licence, allowing excise and consumption tax goods to be stored under duty suspension. This means that excise duties and consumption taxes do not have to be paid when goods enter storage. Payment is deferred and, in the case of export, these taxes can often be avoided altogether.
In addition, we operate a customs warehouse (bonded warehouse), enabling non-Union goods to be stored under customs supervision without the immediate payment of import duties and taxes. Our customs facilities also provide an efficient solution for the temporary import of goods. Furthermore, we offer fiscal representation, helping international companies meet their VAT and import-related obligations in the Netherlands.
Alongside our AGP, IV and customs warehouse licences, LIS Logistics holds all the necessary customs authorisations for the import and export of goods.
These authorisations enable us to import, store and export virtually all types of goods with minimal customs intervention or physical inspections. We also manage the complete customs clearance process and prepare all required customs declarations and documentation.
To support these processes, we use software integrations with the Dutch Customs authorities for excise duties, consumption tax and import/export declarations. These systems are fully integrated with our Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring fast, accurate and efficient processing.
In addition, we have a direct software connection with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) for requesting certificates of origin on behalf of our customers. This minimises delays and ensures that the entire process is handled as efficiently as possible.
